The third annual Charm City Farm & Garden Tour will be held on Saturday August 18th, 2013. This event is hosted in partnership by staff and volunteers from Baltimore Green Space, the Baltimore Farm Alliance, the Parks & People Foundation and UME Baltimore City Master Gardeners.
The purpose of the Charm City Farm & Garden Tour is to provide Baltimore residents with an opportunity to experience the diverse community-managed garden spaces that exist throughout the city, to celebrate the impact of community gardens, and to provide the public with a fun and creative way to experience the local food movement in Baltimore City. Participants will have the option of touring the selected community gardens by bike or on bus. The tours will conclude with a garden party at the Cylburn Arboretum (the Vollmer Center). This event will promote and showcase sustainable community practices that can be replicated in all areas of Baltimore City and will bring together a diverse population of participants.
